Learning from contradictions

One of the main purposes of this year's ICO Museum Summer School for Kids, based on the work of cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa, was to show the kids art as a process of self expression, a way to encourage their critical awareness , so we propose them a series of art interventions where they can freely give a message to the world.

Uno de los principales propósitos de la Escuela de Verano del Museo ICO de este año, basada en el trabajo del artista cubano Carlos Garaicoa, ha sido mostrar a los niños el arte como un proceso de expresión propia, una manera de incentivar su sentido crítico, y para ello propusimos una serie de intervenciones artísticas donde pudieran transmitir libremente un mensaje al mundo.
